Step 1

Draw patterns for a duck about 10 cm in size, cut out a torso with a head (main detail) from felt - 2 pieces, a beak - 2 pieces, a wing - 4 pieces (2 pieces smaller in size).

Sew the base by connecting two parts of the body with a scalloped seam. Sew by hand with 3-fold floss. Leave a non-sewn area so that you can fill the workpiece with synthetic fluff. Fill the torso with filler and sew, continuing the scallop stitch.

Sew a wing, decorating it: put a small wing detail on a large one and sew a floss in 3 folds by hand. Pre-insert synthetic fluff inside the small wing to create volume. Finish the large wing along the edge with a scalloped seam. Sew the second wing in the same way.

Attach the wings in a hinged manner so they can move. To do this, you need to make a hole in the wing blank and sew it to the body, placing beads on both sides of the wing. Make a knot inside under the wing and fix it with Moment glue so that it does not come loose.

Make eyes and a beak: eyes - sew through black beads and at the same time embroider cilia with the same thread, and sew a beak from red felt with a scalloped seam with red thread.
