When making toys from plasticine, the accuracy of reproduction of a real object is not very important - the main thing is that it is recognizable. However, some plasticine models are simply not interesting without detailed elaboration. The tank also belongs to those - your son will surely like to reproduce the smallest nuances of the car from a photograph.

Instructions

Step 1

The color of the plasticine for the tank is not important. You can take any material that your child likes. If you are in favor of realistic model, achieve a khaki color effect. To do this, knead together the bars of a light green, almost yellow shade with dark green or brown. Knead the material until pestilence appears on its surface, resembling the real color of military vehicles.

Step 2

Sculpt the hull of the tank. To do this, form a rectangle out of plasticine, the length of which is about one and a half times the width. To sharpen the edges of the shape, press them one by one against the surface of the table.

Step 3

With a plastic stack or a clerical knife, smoothly cut off the bottom corners of the rectangle - this is how you depict the tracks on which the tank moves. Round off the top corners a little too.

Step 4

The next element is a turntable. It is about three times shorter than the body of the tank and half as much as it is. Roll a ball out of a piece of plasticine, and then press it to the table. Make the top of the resulting cylinder narrower than the bottom.

Step 5

Take a piece of stiff, but not brittle, wire. Insert it into the center of the tank body, drawing inward parallel to the table surface. Place a rotating tower on the fragment remaining outside. Bring the end of the wire through the center of the side surface of the tower, bend it parallel to the table.

Step 6

Roll a thin cylinder out of plasticine - a tank cannon. It should be slightly shorter than the body. Slide the cannon over the rest of the wire.

Step 7

Roll up two small cylinders of the same size and attach them to the swing tower (on the sides) - they will simulate hatches.

Step 8

Use a match or a toothpick to work through the details of the tank. Squeeze circles inside the caterpillar strips on the surface of the plasticine, draw hatch covers, embrasures, periscopic observation devices on the tower. At this stage, focus on the photo of the tank to copy all the small details.
