Modeling is a fun activity for both adults and children. Plastic mass, convenient for creativity, allows you to create volumetric images and whole compositions. A human figurine sculpted during a joint exercise with a child will help to visually demonstrate the proportions of the human body.
It is necessary
- - plasticine;
- - knife;
- - wooden toothpicks.
Instructions
Step 1
Prepare the surface for working with clay. You can use ready-made kits, which usually include a board and stacks, or you can take a piece of thick cardboard or linoleum. Print out a human skeleton on the printer to the same scale as you plan to make your toy.
Step 2
Make a flesh-colored plasticine to sculpt the face and hands of the little man. To do this, cut off white, red and yellow plasticine from large pieces in a 6: 2: 1 ratio. Knead the resulting mass thoroughly in your hands. It should become soft and uniform, without individual color blotches.
Step 3
Sculpt a head for the little man. Make a flesh-colored plasticine oval. Compare it to the printed skeleton. Use the tip of your knife to make notches where the face will be. Mark the location for the nose, eyes, and mouth.
Step 4
Roll a drop of plasticine into a droplet and attach the nose in place. Make the nostrils with the sharp end of a toothpick. If possible, smooth the edges of the nose with a stack along the entire contour so that it does not look like a separate element.
Step 5
Roll two thin red plasticine sausages between your fingers. One, which is more authentic, will be the upper lip, the other - the lower lip. Stick them on the notch under your nose. If you plan on making a light smile, curl your lips as required.
Step 6
Make two balls out of white plasticine and attach them in place of the eyes. Then roll up two flesh-colored plasticine sausages. Make the upper and lower eyelids out of them. If possible, smooth the eyelids against the plasticine face with a stack. Make pupils and thin eyebrows from black plasticine.
Step 7
Sculpt two ears. Try to give them the shape of not just a pancake, but also slightly stretch the lobes. Determine the place for the ears and glue them symmetrically to the man's head.
Step 8
Give the toy man a haircut or headdress. To do this, you can use not only plasticine, but also yarn, pieces of rags, paper. Stick a wooden toothpick in your head so you can attach it to your body later.
Step 9
Think about the body for the little man. If it's a boy, do your legs immediately in trousers. Take colored plasticine and roll up two sausages, which you try on a paper skeleton. Sculpt the shoes, glue them together, and stick bits of a toothpick into the top to attach them to your torso.
Step 10
Make your hands also from colored plasticine, which matches the clothes for the toy. For the brushes, roll two small balls of flesh-colored paste. Flatten them and make your fingers with a palm with a knife. Align them slightly and attach them in place.
Step 11
Blind your torso with your clothes on and attach your arms and legs to it with toothpicks. Fit all the details, put your head on the torso and the man is ready.
