With the former it is easier - a round or slightly elongated shape is ideal for creating a traditional topiary in the form of a ball. Elongated spruce cones look more original, but require a more thoughtful design.

- large pine cones of a beautiful shape;
- ball base made of foam or floral sponge;
- a beautifully curved stick, peeled of bark or an artificial trunk for topiary;
- small Christmas tree toys;
- silvery floral mesh;
- glass beads;
- satin ribbon in white and blue;
- silver paint in spray;
- clay vase;
- cement mixture;
- thin wire;
- sharp knife;
- scissors;
- glue.
Cut a hole in the foam ball along the diameter of the barrel. Strengthen the trunk in a clay vase, pour the cement mortar inside and let it harden.
Stick the cones on the base ball. It is better to start work from above, fixing decorative elements in a spiral. Dry the workpiece and cover it with silver spray paint. In order not to stain the furniture and the floor, cover the space around with newspapers. The paint is applied in 2 layers, each drying well.
