Costumed outfits are relevant not only during the New Year holidays, but also for events such as a birthday party, a matinee in kindergarten and even a ruler at school, for example, for first graders. Therefore, from time to time there is a problem of finding the right suits.
It is necessary
- - fabric of bright contrasting colors (satin, crepe satin);
- - decorative braid;
- - scissors;
- - threads.
Instructions
Step 1
The costume of Parsley is quite common, which symbolizes a merry entertainer at festive events. It is not always possible to buy or rent a costume outfit, so it is quite possible to sew it, even if you have little experience with a sewing machine. The Petrushka costume assumes different variations, both of the main elements (overalls or pants and shirt-blouse) and accessories to it. For example, a headdress might look like a long pointed cap or like a gnome's hat. One of the options can be a “bifurcated” cap, the ends of which are decorated with bells.
Step 2
Convenience of sewing lies in the fact that there is no need for exact observance of the measurements, since the suit can assume a fairly loose fit. By the way, if a costume is sewn for the new year, then it is worth remembering that its decoration with shiny tinsel is already fading into oblivion, as an outdated option. But now, for the manufacture of fancy-dress outfits, a huge assortment of elegant bright fabrics, as well as the necessary accessories - satin ribbons, trimming lace, unusual buttons, etc., are offered, which look very impressive.
Step 3
Choose bright material in contrasting colors, such as yellow-red, yellow-blue, red-blue, etc. Fabrics such as satin, crepe-satin, crystal are well suited, as they have a beautiful shine that shimmers in the light. If there is no ready-made pattern, then take a shirt of the right size and circle its component parts (back, shelves and sleeves) on the paper.
Step 4
Do the same manipulations with the pants. Correct the resulting patterns by adding 2-5 cm at the edges. Sweep the cut out details, stepping back from the edges of at least 1.5 cm. Please note that these fabrics slide and "crumble" along the edges.
Step 5
Machine seams with a plain stitch, overlock or zigzag seams. Trim the edges of the neckline with a bias tape to match the suit. Hem the edges of the legs, the bottom of the shirt, sleeves, and the waist area by 1-1.5 cm. Insert elastic into the waistband, legs, and sleeves.
Step 6
Sew on the edge of the sleeves and the neckline, pre-made, wide, fluffy ruffles. Sew the bottom edge of the shirt with a bright wide decorative tape, for example, gold.
Step 7
To make a sash, take a piece of fabric 120x20 cm, fold it in half lengthwise and sew from the inside out. You will get a double belt, the edges of which are also trimmed with braid.
Step 8
To sew a headgear, take a hat of a suitable size as a basis and, having made an adjustment for the volume of the head, make a preliminary pattern. Then make two "horns" on it, stretched up. Sweep the received details, then trim the edge of the headdress with braid. Decorate the "horns" with bells.
