It is necessary

  • - Pine cones;
  • - spray paint;
  • - gloves;
  • - scotch tape or stationery glue;
  • - cardboard or whatman paper;
  • - "Moment" glue.

Instructions

Step 1

Get everything you need ready. You need pine cones to work, and quite a lot. Probably, few people have cones specially harvested in the summer at home. But even in winter, you can pick up the right amount in a park or suburban forest where there are conifers. The buds should be of different sizes. At home, lay them out on paper, clean them of debris. If they are soggy, dry.

Step 2

The next step is painting the cones. Of course, you don't have to paint them. However, a Christmas tree made of pine cones coated with gold or silver paint looks more festive. Painting is best done outdoors or on a balcony, as the strong smell of paint can make you feel unwell. Drying is also desirable in a ventilated area, for example, on the same balcony. Always use gloves when working. The aerosol can be replaced with nail polish. Keep in mind, however, that it will take a lot (this is certainly a big minus). You will have to paint with a brush, so painting will take quite a long time.

Step 3

Decide how tall your tree will be. Roll a cone of the desired size from whatman or cardboard. To prevent it from unfolding, secure the edges with tape or just glue. Cut the bottom of the cone equally so that the finished Christmas tree can be installed on a horizontal surface.

Step 4

Glue the cones onto the cone using Moment glue. Start from the bottom tier. Stick on the biggest buds first. Gradually, as you move up, the smaller ones.

Step 5

There will be gaps between the cones, into which the cone will be visible. Close them with small bumps. You can fix acorns in these places (of course, if you have them). Paint them with a different color. They will look like Christmas tree decorations.

Step 6

The Christmas tree is ready. It is beautiful and original in itself, but if you wish, you can also decorate it.
