It is not easy for a woman to choose a hat to her taste and color. The beret is a versatile headdress that looks elegant on any of the fair sex. Crocheted or knitted, they always look original and unique, even if created using simple knitting and a simple pattern. For winter, berets are knitted from natural fiber. Then start decreasing the canvas. In each circular row, cut six columns (behind both sides of the loop). Knit with basic pattern until the circle is about 17cm in diameter. The diameter should be such that the beret does not slide onto the forehead or fly off the head. Work two rows with single crochet without subtraction. Turn the work over and knit a row of two crochets in every fifth stitch of the row. Finish knitting with a row of single crochets.
Step 5
Knitted berets are beautiful when knitted seamless. Choose the pattern you like, taking into account that it does not distort when decreasing the diameter. Tie the pattern by adding and subtracting loops. Make a calculation according to how many loops in a centimeter are added and decreased. For a set of loops and knitting, use circular needles, and when decreasing closer to the crown, go to stocking needles. Pull the remaining loops tight with a thread.
Step 6
