There are many ways to knit a sweater, and each one allows you to create a unique product. The original silhouette, elegant folds of the collar-collar, intricate relief or multicolored patterns - each decorative element further complicates the model. If you need to get the job done as quickly as possible, choose a simple pattern and simple knit. For example, a sweater without shoulder seams with a classic stand.
It is necessary
- - three straight knitting needles (No. 5-6);
- - Circular knitting needles of a smaller size (Nos. 3-4;
- - yarn;
- - pattern;
- - centimeter.
Instructions
Step 1
Draw a pattern for the future product. You will need to make the main part of the cut in the form of a rectangular panel with a hole for the head; Stand-up collar, elasticated hem and two wedge sleeves. It is recommended to work on large knitting needles (from # 5-6 and more) with a suitable thick yarn - this will speed up the knitting of the sweater.
Step 2
Think of the simplest ways to decorate your canvas. For example, tie the product with the front satin stitch: the back and in front of one color, the sleeves, collar and elastic at the bottom - with another (similar in tone). You can use melange (section dyed) yarn.
Step 3
If desired, do a "quick" simple pattern like "rice". In the first row - 1x1 elastic (front loops alternate sequentially with purl); in the next row, the pattern of the canvas shifts: the purl is knitted above the front ones, the front ones are knitted above the purl ones. Then you need to work on the pattern of the first and second rows.
Step 4
Start knitting a sweater from the side of the back and front. Cast on the required number of stitches on straight knitting needles, based on the density of your knitting and the size of the product. Make a straight blade until you reach the neckline. So, in the children's model 32-34 sizes, it will be about 10 cm from the start of work.
Step 5
Mark the center line of the canvas and divide it in two. Form a cut line by symmetrically closing the hinges separately on the right and left of the part. Work from different balls using a spare working needle. When the hole for the head is ready, reassemble all the loops on one straight knitting needle.
Step 6
Tie the second section of the sweater to the opposite side hem and close the buttonholes of the last row. Be careful not to pull off the thread bows - this will deform the product. The right and left edges of the main panel must completely coincide with each other in length.
Step 7
Sew the sides of the sweater. Along the line of the armholes, calculate the required number of buttonholes for the sleeves. Knit them, gradually narrowing the wedge of the part. After a few rows, decrease the left and right stitches until the sleeves are in the desired shape. Finish with 1x1 cuff elastic.
Step 8
Bond the sleeves and sew them to the back and front. Cast along the notch line using circular knitting needles smaller than the main tool. Make a stand-up collar to the desired height and close the loops.
Step 9
On the bottom of the sweater, cast the loops on the circular needles again and tie a 1x1 elastic. Close the ending loops of the finished sweater, loosely pulling the threads. The hem of the garment should be elastic and tight.
