Reflex foot massage is a very effective, comfortable, versatile, affordable and, most importantly, safe method of treatment. During this massage, all active zones and reflex points on the soles are worked out. In addition, massage mats are an excellent prophylactic remedy for children's flat feet.

It is necessary

  • - several scraps of dense fabric (satin, calico, dense chintz);
  • - various types of cereals, buttons, grated polystyrene.

Instructions

Step 1

Cut out squares of 40x40 centimeters from the scraps of fabric. The number of parts must be even.

Step 2

Take two squares, sweep them together on one side and grind on a typewriter. Repeat the same steps with three more pairs of such squares. Iron the seams.

Step 3

Take two pairs of sewn squares, sweep them together in a straight line, grind and stitch a third, and then a fourth pair of squares to them. You should get a canvas of eight squares (2x4 squares). Make sure that the joints of the parts match. This will give the future rug a neat look. Press the seams on the wrong side.

Step 4

Repeat the steps described in points 2 and 3 again to prepare the canvas for the second side of the future massage mat.

Step 5

Attach two prepared rug cloths with the front parts to each other, sweep them together along three sides. For the convenience of subsequent filling of the rug, sweep the canvases along the long sides. Stitch the canvases. Make sure that the joints of the squares match.

Step 6

Cut off all corners, leaving a distance of 2-3 millimeters from the cut line to the line. Turn the resulting cover onto the front side.

Step 7

Basting along the middle long seam (the seam between the squares along the fabric). Make sure that the joints of the squares match. Machine stitch over basting. The result is a cover with two compartments.

Step 8

Pour half a kilogram of cereal filler into each compartment. It is better if you choose different cereals for filling different squares. After that, lay a basting across the resulting cover, separating the first pair of squares, lay a machine stitch along the basting.

Step 9

Repeat step 8 for each pair of squares until you have completed the entire case. Sew the edge by hand. The rug is ready.
