Step 1
The first step is to collect a sufficient number of plastic bottle caps. If you connect your friends to this, then things will go much faster. First, you need to prepare the plugs for further use. They should be thoroughly rinsed and dried.
Step 2
Now that all the covers are ready for use, you can start making the massage mat itself. For further actions, we need an awl. We make 6 holes in each cork. It is worth considering that this craft is based on a hexagon. This means that you can calculate the number of end caps, and they, as you know, are the basis of weaving. Here's an example. If you want to make a massager with a length of 10 plugs, then you will need 54 end caps. That is, you need to calculate like this: the number of covers on one side must be multiplied by 6 minus 6 covers, which are repeated. After you have learned how to calculate the basis, you can proceed to the weaving itself.
Step 3
We take the fishing line and put all the outer covers on it, after which this rug should be weaved strictly according to the scheme. You can find it both on the Internet and draw it yourself.
