Chinese paper lanterns are very easy to make, even a child can handle this task. This decoration will not only transform the house for the New Year, but also create a special festive atmosphere in it.
It is necessary
- - colored paper or cardboard;
- - ruler;
- - pencil;
- - scissors;
- - stationery glue or transparent tape.
Instructions
Step 1
First, cut a square out of a sheet of colored paper, then fold it in half and diagonally.
Step 2
On a folded sheet, mark the cut lines perpendicular to the fold with a pencil - they should start from the fold itself and not reach the edge of the sheet by a couple of centimeters. Then cut the sheet along the outlined lines.
Step 3
Unfold the slit sheet and secure the ends with office glue or clear tape.
Step 4
Then you can start making a pen for the flashlight - for this, take paper of the same color as the flashlight itself and cut a narrow long strip out of it. Glue the cut strip to the New Year's decoration on both sides.
Step 5
A ready-made Chinese lantern made of paper can be decorated with beads, rhinestones, sequins or bright ribbons.
Step 6
Make a few more of these paper lanterns and hang them on a ribbon to create a Christmas garland.
Step 7
From Chinese lanterns, you can make not only a New Year's garland, but also decorate a festive table with them. In this case, you do not need to attach a handle to the flashlight, but you can put an LED light bulb or a glass with a burning candle inside. True, such a decor will have to be constantly monitored in order to exclude the possibility of accidental fire.
