The Maxidrom International Music Festival will take place for the fifteenth time in July 2012. The current festival will be held in the open-air format on the territory of the Tushino airfield.
In 2012, the organizers decided to hold the festival for two days in order to acquaint the audience with as much music as possible. On June 10 and 11, Maxidrom will be held at the Tushino airfield, which is familiar to regular spectators. The headliners of the festival will be Linkin Park (leaders of the first day) and The Cure (leaders of the second day). On June 10 and 11, viewers will also be able to see The Rasmus, Everlast, She Wants Revenge Clawfinger, Noel Gallagher, Therapy and many other bands on stage.
You can get to the Tushino airfield using the subway. To do this, you need to take the Tagansko-Krasnopresnenskaya line, heading towards the Planernaya station, and get to the Tushinskaya station. You can easily reach your destination in 15-20 minutes from the Krasnopresnenskaya station of the Moscow metro ring line, which is closest to the airfield.
Also buses and minibuses are suitable for you, the route of which includes the stop "Tushinsky market". The trade pavilions of the market are located in the immediate vicinity of the airfield, so it will be easy for you to find your way around the area.
If you are driving your own car, you need to go to the Moscow Ring Road and get to the junction with Volokolamskoe highway. Turn onto the highway towards the Garden Ring and in a few minutes you will be there. Parking on the territory of the Tushino airfield and on the Volokolamskoye highway is officially prohibited. There is a parking lot near the concert venue, but there may not be enough space for everyone, so it is better to take care of the storage space for your car in advance.
And on June 10 and 11, the festival will begin at 2 pm Moscow time. The cost of an entrance ticket ranges from two to twelve thousand rubles, depending on the time of your stay at the event (one or two days) and the place (fan zone, VIP zone or usual).
