Anyone who has Adobe Photoshop installed on their computer can create an interesting composition of their favorite photos. You can also use other graphic editors. For example, the free program Artweaver Free has the same functions. The collage can be stored on your computer or posted on the Internet. You may want to make changes to it over time. The saving methods in these cases will be slightly different.

It is necessary

  • - computer with Adobe Photoshop;
  • - a set of photographs.

Instructions

Step 1

Pick up photos for your collage. They can be transferred from a digital machine or scanned. Pictures from the Internet will do as well. In any case, save the pictures to your computer.

Step 2

Create a new file in Adobe Photoshop and give it a name. In this case, the Latin alphabet is preferable, especially for posting on the network.

Step 3

Go to the Image menu and find Image Size. Set the height, width and resolution of the collage. For a web page, it is better to set the parameters in pixels, but you can also choose centimeters. Set the value in the "resolution" box depending on the purpose. For placement on the site, 72 pixels per inch are enough, for printing it is better to make it larger.

Step 4

Switch the future collage to RGB mode. In the "Contents" menu, find the line "Image underlay" and set the transparent one. If you are not going to fit the photos tightly together, color the background beforehand.

Step 5

Open the selected photos in Adobe Photoshop. Put them all in RGB mode. This will give you the opportunity to move the images to a new picture. Make the same resolution as for the collage. Add height and width.

Step 6

Move the pictures one by one to the new image. To do this, use the "Move" tool. Compose the pictures. The first can be attached to a specific point5 on the canvas using the "Snap" function. If the collage is slightly smaller than the original new file, select the image and crop the edges.

Step 7

Select a format to save. First, save it on your computer, and in an easy-to-edit format. The best option is psd. Enter the menu. Go to the "File" menu, find the line "Save As". The program will prompt you to select a folder and format. Enter the required labels and click OK.

Step 8

Not all browsers accept the psd format. So save your collage with a different extension as well. In some older versions of Adobe Photoshop, you must first glue all the layers. Find the corresponding function in the Layers menu. Save your collage as jpg,.gif"
