Perhaps, James Bond films can be made forever: 50 years have passed since the release of the first part, during which the series has transformed several times, but has not lost its relevance. In 2012, a new part of the adventures of the legendary special agent is released: "007: Skyfall coordinates".

The world premiere is scheduled for October 22nd. This date can be considered reliable: there is no talk of any conversion to 3D format and no major competitors are planned for the film, and therefore the transfer is unlikely to take place.

Of course, before the release there will be a number of "private screenings": major premieres, which will be personally attended by the leading actors, director and producers. The number and even the location of such shows cannot be predicted in advance: it is only obvious that they will be held in those countries where distributors will fight for high box office receipts. Considering the experience of past films, it is quite possible for the stars to come to Moscow.

The World Premiere designation applies primarily to the United States. In order for the film to stay on the charts of the "box office cathedrals" longer, distributors are somewhat stretching the premiere schedule. Quite large film markets often suffer from this: in particular, the domestic one. The premiere in Russia is scheduled for November 1.

A number of cinemas are buying up exclusive rights to show the film before the premiere: however, loud advertising is usually not given to this. Check the posters of your favorite cinemas and you may find some discrepancies with the date of the premiere.

The film can be watched with confidence within the first two weeks. It will be in the repertoire of large cinemas as long as it makes a profit: as a rule, already in the third week, the films smoothly “move” to small halls, and then completely disappear onto the shelf.

It is difficult to predict the commercial success of the new film: the first two parts behaved well at the box office, but the second was clearly worse, which was reflected in the average ratings.

The film will appear on DVD and Blue-ray on New Year's Eve, if the rental runs out by then. This is due to the desire of distributors to make money by presenting the film as a “New Year's gift”. If the movie does better than Quantum of Solace, the release may be delayed until spring, adding additional content to the discs.
