In winter, fishing can be just as exciting as in summer. Perch is most often caught either for fish soup, or as live bait for girders, but for some fishermen fishing for perch with a jig is just a gambling pastime that allows you to relax in nature with benefit.

It is necessary

  • - ice screw;
  • - winter fishing rod "balalaika" or "telephone";
  • - short flexible six;
  • - a simple subtle nod;
  • - jig "pellet", "larva", "drop";
  • - thin line no more than 0.8 mm;
  • - a body of water in which there is a perch.

Instructions

Step 1

Prepare your gear. Take the smallest diameter auger. It is better to choose a fishing rod "balalaika" or "telephone". Try to get a rod that will spin easily enough. An additional advantage will be the presence of an adjustable brake.

Step 2

Shorten the six to 8-11 cm and reduce the thickness by hand with a knife or on a lathe. As a result, the six should bend almost in half with the force breaking the line. Moreover, when you release him, he should quickly straighten, fully recovering form.

Step 3

Take a nod with a length of 5-7 cm, at the end there should be only one hole - for the fishing line. Only the last third of the nod should be played actively, and it is desirable that there is no noticeable transition between the line and the nod, they should smoothly transition into each other. To do this, either take a soft nod or grind off the tip.

Step 4

The best jigs for catching perch are traditional devices for bloodworms: "pellet", "larva", "drop". It should hang at a 90⁰ angle to the line. Try to have in your arsenal both light and dark and shiny jigs. Work the hole or insert a piece of thin cambric so that the line does not deform against the edge.

Step 5

Take a long, sharp, thin, high quality hook, # 20 or larger. It is good if it protrudes beyond the body of the jig for a sufficiently long distance. The line should be soft and thin, no more than 0.8 mm.

Step 6

Having prepared the tackle, go to the pond. Start fishing from a shallow water area, make at least 7-10 holes to find the favorite spot for the perch - the border of coastal vegetation, the lower and upper edges of the coastal dump.

Step 7

Place a small bloodworm on the hook and examine all the holes. Sooner or later you will find a hole in which you can catch several perches at once. Throw a pinch of small bloodworms into it and continue fishing. If the bites suddenly stop, the fish either left or was frightened by a large perch. In the second case, throw the feed to lull his vigilance, and cast the line only after 10 minutes - most likely, he will fall for your bait.

Step 8

Hold the rod flat in the palm of your hand while fishing. It is best to use the following technique: hold the rod with your right hand, and place the pole between the index and thumb with your left. Use your right hand to create oscillations of the required sharpness and frequency, and use your left fingers to adjust the amplitude of oscillations. Smoothly raising both hands, you set the speed of the drive.

Step 9

Try different ways of catching perch: a sharp "knock" between the fingers with a large amplitude, small translational movements with a minimum speed of retrieval. If this does not help, put the jig on the bottom and wait a couple of minutes. Get ready for an instant hook as soon as the fish signals.
