Many people, having visited the sea, bring shells home. These gifts of nature remind us of the warm sea and the bright sun, of carefree relaxation and romantic walks along the coast. How to use shells in the interior and give your home a unique look?
It is necessary
- - shells;
- - glue;
- - vase;
- - picture frame;
- - Wall Clock;
- - candle;
- - cardboard;
- - acrylic paints.
Instructions
Step 1
Choose small shells that have different shapes. If possible, take also different beautiful stones and pieces of coral, beads of different colors, beautiful glass. Prepare a wide, clear vase or any vessel that is simple in shape. Pour the shells into the container. Such a marine "still life" will look great in the hall, living room or bathroom.
Step 2
Get a wooden or plastic photo frame. Carefully line the shells around the perimeter of the frame using a glue gun or plain glue. If you wish, you can varnish the product. Frame a photo from your seaside holiday. You will receive a unique little thing that will decorate a wall or a bedside table and remind you of wonderful days.
Step 3
You can make a decorative wreath from seashells. Cut a circle base out of thick cardboard, pick up paper or tape of a suitable tone and wrap the base. Stick on the shells so they completely cover the cardboard. Make a loop and attach it from the inside out. You can hang a decorative wreath on the wall. If you place a beautiful wax candle in the center, you get a stylish candlestick that will look great on a holiday table.
Step 4
Decorate your wall clock with seashells. Stick on shells to mark the divisions on the dial, or position them around the perimeter of the watch. If you wish, you can post a picture - a flower or just geometric shapes. If all shells are the same color, you can paint them with acrylic paint.
Step 5
Buy a candle that is thick enough and glue shells onto it. You can complement the composition with beads that imitate sea pearls. If you have large shells, pour melted wax or paraffin into them and lower the wick.
You will receive an unusual Shell Candlestick.
