Since childhood, Perry dreamed of leaving provincial life. The boy did not differ in particular success in studies or sports. Therefore, he decided not to continue his education, but to pursue a career in show business.
Career
After graduating from school, Perry leaves for Los Angeles, but he did not succeed in achieving rapid success. For several years he has been making a living in low-skilled labor, regularly attending various castings. He did not set high standards, he tried to get not only in films and television series, but also modest commercials. Despite Perry's charm, all tests invariably ended in failure.
Finally, the young man's persistence was rewarded. His first television job was in a commercial with Alice Cooper. The young talented actor was noticed, in 1987 he began working in the television series, "Lovers", was released only one season. In 1988, Perry starred in the TV series Underworld. The series' success has been modest.
The next set was life-changing for Perry. A series about teenagers from wealthy families, raised issues that were not accepted to be covered in entertainment series of the time. Drugs, early pregnancy, acute family conflicts, difficulties in understanding and socialization of adolescents.
