Step 1

Install a slide float and stopper on the main line. Most floats for long distance bait casting come with an internal shipment. In some designs, the keel needs to be filled with lead shot, in others there is already a heavy keel. Hollow keel floats have good stability and are responsive to bite, maintaining an upright position during various manipulations with the tackle.
Step 4
The range of lifting capacities and sizes of sliding floats is quite wide. The dimensions of the average float are as follows: with a length of 20 cm, the antenna diameter is from 3 to 5 mm, and the body diameter at the widest point of the float is 10-12 mm. The carrying capacity of such a float should be 3-7 g.
Step 5
The color of the float is of no small importance for carp fishing. The upper part should have bright transverse stripes, the rest of the body should be a neutral color, less noticeable to fish. Rounded carp hook # 7 has a short forend and a ring. The canonical sting is slightly bent inward.
Step 6
An integral part of the rig is a bead that prevents slippage in the ring of the stopper assembly. The diameter of the plastic bead is 2-3mm. The hole in it must be at least 0.3 mm.

To prepare bait and bait, use semolina, steamed cake, corn and soy flour, bran, boiled mashed potatoes, worms, etc.
