Carp and crucian carp live in almost all reservoirs and lakes with a muddy bottom, where the water flow is weak or completely absent. Fishing is most successful in areas where the fish are well fed. On private ponds, before the days of fishing, complementary foods are scattered very abundantly so that not a single fisherman is left without a catch.

Step 1
When going fishing, prepare canned corn, peas, potatoes, bread, mixed feed. This is what carp bite on. Literally everything is suitable for catching crucian carp, but the most successful fishing is obtained if you use a dung worm or steamed barley as bait.

The most successful season for catching carp and crucian carp is summer, when the fish is in shallow water and does not sink deeper than 5 meters. As soon as the days become cool, carp and crucian carp go to a depth of more than 10 meters and it is almost impossible to catch them.
Step 3
On clear days, catch carp and crucian carp with a float rod 4-4.5 meters long. The line should be soft, strong, simple hooks. You can use telescopic rods. However, the equipment depends on your material capabilities.
Step 4
Sprinkle generous amounts of feed on the fishing spots before sunrise. The fish will rise for the smell. Use canned corn, peas, or dungworms for bait. The crucian carp bites the worm best of all.
Step 5
If you fish in the spring, you can catch very large fish that cannot be pulled out without using a net, so be sure to take it with you when collecting. This is especially true if you are fishing from a boat.
Step 6
Both carp and crucian carp bite only in the early morning or evening. Sitting on the bank during the day waiting for a bite is completely useless. Do not go fishing if there is bad weather or prolonged heat with an air temperature above 27 degrees, wait for calm, clear weather with a temperature of no higher than 23 degrees.
Step 7
Do not forget that poaching methods of catching any fish are prohibited. Poaching equipment includes a net, a screen, a cradle, and a TV set. This method can only be used if you fish in your private pond or have a fishing license.
