It is necessary

  • - 8 strings of floss, 1 m long;
  • - pin;
  • - scissors.

Instructions

Step 1

Buy bunches of floss in four different colors. For example, you can prepare a pair of pink, yellow, green and red working threads. To weave a medium-sized bauble with rhombuses, you will need threads at least a meter in length.

Step 2

Tie a bunch of colorful threads into a strong knot and pin to your pillow or upholstered furniture. This way you can easily stretch the floss and make neat bindings.

Step 3

Start to weave a bauble. First, tie the central red threads into a knot, then knot them on the other threads.

Step 4

A traditional buttonhole knot is made in the following sequence: with one thread (working) another (axial) thread is wrapped. A working thread is pulled through the resulting loop, then the knot moves up. The lower knot is performed in the same way and rises to the upper one. The result is a double working node.

Step 5

Use red threads as workers and use them to knot on threads of a different color, moving from the middle of the bundle to the edges. You should have the top red wedge of the first diamond.

Step 6

Now there should be two pink threads around the edges, and a couple of yellow threads in the middle. Place the spent red threads in front of the pink ones; tie the central yellow together.

Step 7

Braid the green ones with yellow threads, then tie them back into a knot. As a result, a small yellow diamond formed in the middle.

Step 8

Tie all the axial threads with red threads, moving from edge to middle. This will complete the bottom red rhombus wedge with a yellow center.

Step 9

Continue making loop knots on the bracelet. Put pink threads into work and tie green ones with them; yellow; green again. The pink triangles will fall on both sides under the diamond on the bracelet.

Step 10

Introduce red threads to work. They need to complete one row, moving from the middle to the edges. It turned out a new red wedge of knots. In the middle there is again a pair of yellow threads. Tie them up.

Step 11

Make a series of yellow wedge knots. Place the used thread in front of the red thread.

Step 12

Now the green threads are tied in a knot. They are tied around the pink ones, after which they are tied again. This forms the green center of the diamond.

Step 13

The next row of baubles is woven from yellow working threads from the middle to the edges. A pair of yellow threads are tied in a knot.

Step 14

Red threads are tied alternately on the right and left sides: first around the pink ones, then around the green ones; again around pink.

Step 15

The braided rhombuses continue to change colors. The next working row is woven from yellow threads from the middle to the right and left edges, then the same work is done with green threads. There is a pink pair in the middle.

Step 16

Work according to the pattern: tie a pink knot, tie the red ones with pink threads and tie the pink knot again. Now weave a green row of loop knots - from the edges to the middle.

Step 17

Complete a triangular shape: tie a yellow thread around the red, pink, and again around the red. From the middle to the edges, the next, green, row will begin. Then a pink row of knots is made. In this case, the knots reach the edges, and the pink threads remain in front of the green ones.

Step 18

Now you make the red diamond-shaped center of the next link of the string bracelet. To do this, tie the red center threads, tie them around the adjacent axial threads and make a red knot again.

Step 19

A pink row is performed from the middle to the edges. A green thread is tied with yellow, red, again yellow threads - "axes".

Step 20

Weave the bracelet from the center to the left and right edges using pink threads. Now in front of you is a part of a thread bauble with a row of multi-colored rhombuses. Continue with the pattern to make the piece the length you want. At the end of the work, tie a bundle with a knot and trim the ends of the threads with scissors.
