Baubles, woven from floss threads, are a popular accessory among teenagers. They are woven in a variety of ways, but the simplest are oblique and straight weaving. The second technique is usually used to make products with pictures or inscriptions.
It is necessary
- - floss threads of several colors;
- - weaving pattern;
- - scotch tape;
- - scissors.
Instructions
Step 1
The beginning of weaving baubles in this way is no different from others. Cut the threads 60-70 cm long each, their number will depend on the width of the future baubles. It is better not to cut the thread of the main color of the bracelet, but to weave it directly from the ball.
Step 2
Start braiding from left to right. Use a working thread to make the right double knot. To do this, put the thread on the first thread of the warp, pass the tip through the resulting loop, tighten and make another such knot. Tie all the warp threads in this way to the end of the row.
Step 3
Next, you need to ensure that the rows are located exactly. To do this, weave from right to left. Tie the left double knot with a working thread of the main color. To do this, place the working thread on the first warp thread on the right side. Pull the tip through the resulting loop, tighten and make a second knot. Weave in this way to the end of the row. Next, alternate weaving rows with right and left double knots.
Step 4
As a rule, straight weave is used to make baubles with a pattern or lettering. Weave with the main color to the required size, and when you need to change the colors, then substitute the thread of the desired shade, i.e. it will be used for tying knots instead of the working base color.
Step 5
Tuck the small end of the thread onto the wrong side of the bracelet. Hide the main thread in the same way. Next, make a row of knots with the thread of the desired shade. If you need to include the main color in the weaving, bring the working thread to the front side and weave the required number of knots according to the pattern.
Step 6
Continue to weave until you need a different color of working thread. Include it in the weave as described above and make the required number of knots with it.
Step 7
You can also weave the pattern in another way. To do this, use threads, the shades of which are present in the drawing, as a basis. When you finish with a working thread of the main color to the beginning of the drawing, change it with a base thread of the desired color, that is, the base will become a working one. Braid a new warp thread with it and continue weaving with this shade the required number of knots, focusing on the pattern of the picture or inscription. In the same way, switch to weaving in a different color.
Step 8
To finish the work, collect all the threads in a bun and tie in a knot. Braid the ends on both sides of the bracelet with an ordinary pigtail and tie a knot on each side. Fenichka will look neater if you cut off the ends of the floss evenly, leaving a small brush.
