Instructions

Step 1

Decide what exactly you want to embroider. Better to start with small schemes. For the first work, purchase a ready-made set - you do not have to suffer with the selection of beads by color and size, you will immediately have a diagram, canvas, and beads. At least if you are going to embroider on canvas, this is ideal.

Step 2

Hoop the canvas. Secure the thread to the canvas with inconspicuous stitches where you are going to start embroidering. Better to do it from the top, from the left corner. Pull the thread out through one of the holes, put on the bead and thread the needle diagonally through the hole, as you would do with cross stitching. In the same way, continue sewing on one bead further, guided by the diagram.

Step 3

Try other embroidery techniques. You can embroider with beads not only on the canvas. If you need to embroider a large surface with beads, and the mesh on the fabric is too small, try sewing on beaded threads. To do this, string the beads on the threads along the length of the embroidery and attach it to the fabric on both sides. Now start making small stitches between the beads, as if sewing the beaded thread to the fabric. You can sew the thick fabric in the same way as the canvas. Put on one bead on a thread and sew one by one. Of course, in this case, the embroidery will not turn out as smooth as on the canvas.
