Instructions
Step 1
A thick sheet of paper or cardboard must be drawn in such a way that you get a postcard 16.5 cm high, 8.7 cm wide with a spine of 1.3 cm and a pocket measuring 8x8 cm, 1 cm high. Leave 1 cm on the fold in the pocket from three sides.
Step 2
Cut out the details of the future postcard. Before folding the paper in the right places, you need to slightly cut the top layer of it. To do this, we apply a ruler at the fold and very easily draw with the tip of a clerical knife along the paper. We only need to scratch the top layer so that the fold is smooth and beautiful. Excess pencil lines can be removed with an eraser.
Step 3
We bend the blank of the postcard so that we get a spine. Bend the edges of the pocket and glue it to the inside of the card on the right.
Step 4
We glue satin ribbons on the front and back surfaces of the postcard.
Step 5
On the front side of the postcard, glue a rectangle made of colored design paper. You can use available materials for this, for example, a gift bag, a cover from a notebook, a sheet from a magazine. The main thing is that there is a beautiful suitable color.
On the back side of the postcard, glue a rectangle of colored green paper.
Step 6
Cut out a small envelope from craft paper (about 5x3 cm). We fold it and glue it. Inside the envelope, insert a piece of paper with the inscription "Congratulations on February 23!" The inscription can be printed on a printer or written by hand.
Step 7
Glue a piece of matting or other suitable material to the bottom of the postcard. It can be a piece of camouflage or denim.
Glue an artificial flower on top. You can use strips of paper with glue or a glue gun.
Step 8
Glue an envelope with congratulations on top.
Step 9
Cut out three stars of 3, 4 and 5 cm from colored cardboard or design paper.
First, we glue two of them, then we add a ribbon with the colors of the Russian flag, and on it we glue the largest star.
Step 10
We print a congratulatory rhyme on the printer, which will be glued inside the postcard. If you write congratulations by hand, then the paper will need to be tinted first. The sheet is tinted with instant coffee. Coffee gives the paper a vintage look and a light, pleasant aroma. If you don't have a pinch of coffee, you can use regular brown watercolor paint.
We also tint a small square of paper (8x8 cm), which we glue on the pocket.
For greater decorativeness, you can scorch the edges of the sheet over a flame.
Step 11
We glue the congratulations on the inner left side of the postcard, and glue the tinted square on the pocket. It is more convenient to use double-sided tape instead of glue.
You can ask your child to draw a tank on green paper. It will need to be cut and glued.
You can make a signature on the free part of the sheet.
