In order to make a princess crown for a little girl with your own hands, you need to draw a sketch of the pattern on paper, make it out of wire and beads and decorate with beads.
It is necessary
- - wire;
- - beads;
- - beads;
- - fishing line.
Instructions
Step 1
Draw a sketch of a crown that will be woven from wire and beads. To do this, draw a drawing of half of the product, for example, the right side of the product. Since the base for this decoration will be the wire, try to draw the pattern in one line, without lifting the pencil from the sheet of paper. Observe the scale of the drawing.
Step 2
Pick up the wire for the crown weaving. It needs to be very flexible so that curls are easy to create, elastic enough to hold well the shape that was given to it by hand. In addition, the wire must be thin so that the beads can be strung on it. Mark the middle of the wire, wind a piece of electrical tape or plaster around it in this place.
Step 3
Start at the middle of the crown. String the beads on the part of the crown between the weaves in such a quantity that the beads closely follow one after the other. In those places where the lines in the drawing touch, pass the wire through the bead strung on the previous section. You can also use larger beads, such as imitation pearls or faceted bohemian glass beads, in the weave areas. When half of the crown is ready, start weaving the second part. Tuck the ends of the wire into the weave.
Step 4
Make a base to hold the crown you braided before. The base consists of a wire assembled in a ring. The diameter of the ring should be such that the crown rests firmly on the head, but does not fall over the ears. Decorate the base ring with beads. You can also string beads on the line and wrap the resulting cord around the base of the crown so that the beads are on the front side. Do not forget to thread the base wire into the beads where they touch the crown pattern. Hide the ends of the wire and line.
Step 5
Disguise the defects that appeared during the work. To do this, apply the glitter gel that is used to decorate postcards to the places where the wire is exposed.
