Even a novice artist can draw a tangerine. But if you want to complicate the composition and create a real picture, try depicting a fruit with a partially peeled skin. This will make it possible to play with shades of orange, give the picture dynamics and originality.
It is necessary
- - the tablet;
- - drawing paper;
- - pencil;
- - eraser;
- - brushes of different thickness;
- - gouache.
Instructions
Step 1
Attach a piece of drawing paper to your tablet. Try to write in gouache - it lays down in thin translucent layers, which, if necessary, can be easily corrected by removing small imperfections. Find a suitable photograph or drawing to serve as a reference. You can also draw from life - peel the tangerine halfway and place it on the table so that the fruit is well lit.
Step 2
With a sharpened pencil, outline the contours of the future drawing. Define the curl of the peeled skin, the uneven outline of the peel on the tangerine, outline the segments of the lobules. Erase the bad strokes with an eraser, lightly trace the outline with a pencil.
Step 3
Cover the entire sheet with a thin layer of white paint using a wide, soft brush. Lead her straight, apply wide, loose strokes. Through the layer of white, the outline of the drawn tangerine will appear.
Step 4
Dilute the brown and black colors and cover the background behind the drawing with large random strokes. Add some whitewash and rub in the paint to create a blurred background.
Step 5
Combine yellow, orange, and brown gouache on a plastic palette. Draw the resulting mixture on a wide brush and paint over the shaded areas of the fruit at the bottom and on the peeled skin. Add black paint and place a wide shadow directly under the tangerine, brushing along the path.
Step 6
Make a new batch of the mixture by rubbing the red and yellow gouache with a drop of white. Paint over the tangerine and rind. Put some white on the brush and cover the inside of the fruit - it should be different in shade.
Step 7
Dip a thin brush in light brown gouache. Carefully trace the segments of the lobules, the circumference of the fruit, and the edges of the peeled skin. Using a flat brush, take some white and put light highlights on the convex sides of the fruit and the curl of the skin. Blend the edges of the blemish for a soft shine.
Step 8
With a thin brush dipped in a mixture of brown and black paint, intensify the shadows under the tangerine and on the inside of the curls of the rind. Use a whitewash brush to brighten the spots of light. Working with the brushes one by one, achieve the effect of the convexity of the fruit.
