Perch is one of the most common fish, it lives even in the brackish water of the floodplains of some rivers. You can catch perch all year round, both in the shallows and at depth. This fish is a predatory fish and it successfully grabs bait and bait fish on a par with an ordinary worm. There are many ways to catch a perch.

For fishing with a float rod, you will need a long telescopic rod with any reel. The fishing line is selected with a thickness of 0.25-3 mm, a thinner vein is put on the leash. The hook should be sharp with a straight bend # 5-10. The float is preferably cylindrical.
Step 2
Perch can be caught on the float, both from the shore and from the boat. For fishing from a boat, a rod up to 4 m long is convenient. The most successful time for fishing with a float rod is from spring to mid-summer. Worms, maggots, caddis flies and other baits of animal origin are taken as bait. You can use small fish by placing it on the hook behind the back or lip.

From the second half of summer, perch is caught on a donk, fixed on a spinning rod. To do this, equip the rod with a spinning reel, a line of 0, 3-0, 4 mm with several leads, hooks and a sinker weighing 15-30 g. Used to bait fry. You can fish from the shore and from a boat.
Step 4
Since the perch is a predatory fish, it can be caught with spinning lures. The most suitable time for this comes closer to autumn. The spinning rod is equipped with a line from 0.2 mm to 0.4 mm, depending on the size of the intended fish. The best lure spots are near the edge of aquatic vegetation.
Step 5
You can catch perch on mugs and girders, as well as pike. Only the hooks need to be taken single and the leashes should be replaced with nylon ones. The size of the mug itself should be slightly smaller, because the perch is much weaker than the pike and will not be able to flip the mug when hooked. Fishing on circles takes place in deep places with a slow current.
Step 6
You can fish for perch in winter. It gathers in flocks in deep pits. Therefore, finding such a place can provide an excellent catch. A spoon is lowered into the hole and a perch attack is provoked with teasing movements. In order for the perch to peck better in winter, it must be fed with bloodworms.
