Rock over the Volga is an international rock festival that takes place annually in the city of Samara on Russia Day (June 12). It is the largest one-day event in Europe, with 307,000 visitors in 2012. The entrance to the festival is free, however, in a specially fenced area there is a tribune, the seats on which are arranged according to the principle of an amphitheater. Next to the tribune there is a restaurant and toilets only for spectators from the VIP-zone. There is a paid entrance, you will need to purchase tickets.
Instructions
Step 1
Purchase tickets to the VIP-zone at the box office on the day of the Rock over the Volga festival. The ticket offices at the event in 2012 were located in two places: at one of the entrances to the territory and directly at the entrance to the vip tribune. The seats on the stand were numbered, and a special canopy was erected above it to protect from rain and sun.
Step 2
Buy tickets in advance in the city of Samara at the Trade House "Zakhar", located at the address: st. Novo-Sadovaya, 106 (from 11.00 to 19.00).
Step 3
Find out the possibility of pre-ordering tickets and their cost by calling the information center "Rock over the Volga" - 8 (846) 267-01-27. The cost of a ticket to the vip tribune in 2012 was 4000 rubles, for children under 5 years old admission was free.
Step 4
Please note that all children under the age of 18 are admitted to the festival only when accompanied by adults, and an adult must present a parent's passport or a note from the child's parents and a photocopy of their passport at the entrance. On the territory of the festival, a special playground is organized for children.
Step 5
Take your identity documents with you on the train to the Rock over the Volga festival: a passport (you can take a copy of it) or driver's license, medical insurance policy (or a copy), a cell phone. The organizers of the event recommend that you warn your loved ones about the upcoming trip and leave your friends' phone numbers in your mobile.
