The first impression of a gift directly depends on its packaging: the more attractive and original it is, the more positive emotions the person who will receive this gift will receive. However, not everyone knows how to pack gifts beautifully, but this is not a problem, because learning this art is not difficult at all.
If you need to beautifully wrap a gift, then wrapping paper of a bright or, on the contrary, pastel color is best suited for this. However, in order for the present to look attractive in the end, you need to know how to properly package gifts, and pre-practice on ordinary newspapers, using them as wrapping paper.
How to wrap a gift with your own hands
You will need:
- wrapping paper;
- double sided tape;
- scissors;
- tapes;
- the gift itself.
First of all, take some wrapping paper and spread it in front of you on a flat surface. Take a gift (if it has an "irregular" shape, then it must first be placed in a rectangular or square box) and place it in the center of the package. Use a pencil to measure the length and width of the paper just enough to wrap the gift. Cut off the excess according to the indicated marks.
After the desired piece of paper is cut out, put it in front of you with the front side down, then place the gift itself in its middle (also face down), then wrap one of the long edges of the paper over the gift, wrap the second long edge over it so that it covered the first one. Secure everything with tape.
Fold the paper on the shorter sides of the gift like an envelope, that is, wrap the corners inward at a 45-degree angle and secure them with either glue or double-sided tape.
Cut a piece of packing tape and place it in front of you. Place a gift box in the middle of it, then carefully wrap the gift longitudinally and across with it and tie a beautiful fluffy bow. If desired, you can attach a postcard tag with congratulations under the ribbon.
