A newspaper cap is an invariable attribute of plastering and painting works. No home renovation before has been complete without this headgear. And now you can find many options for using such a cap. For example, use in a country house, beach or forest on a hot, sunny day to save yourself from the baking sun. It is not difficult to fold such a cap. It is enough to have a double sheet of newspaper on hand.
Instructions
Step 1
Fold the double sheet of newspaper along the fold line (in half). Lay in front of you on a flat surface so that the folded edge is on top. Take the top right corner of the double sheet and fold it as shown in the illustration. Fold the top left corner of the newspaper in the same way.
Step 2
Fold the bottom edge of the top of the newspaper to the horizontal side of the folded corners. Turn over. Likewise, at the same level, fold over the second edge of the newspaper.
Step 3
Flip the blank of your cap back onto the folded side. Unscrew the bottom edge and fold it in half. Fold the bottom edge (cuff) over the first fold line again.
Step 4
Flip the cap to the other side. Now unfold the cuff on this side. Next, wrap the sides so that the cap fits snugly on your head, in size. If necessary, you can turn the sides more or less, achieving the desired result.
Step 5
Fold the bottom flap in half at the same level as on the first side of the cap. At the same time, do not turn back the folds of the sides. Those. fold them in half.
Wrap the bottom edge (cuff) again along the first fold line so that the double ends of the lapel form a bond of the cap cuffs with the first side. Those. fold them over the side cuffs as shown in the illustration.
Step 6
Add volume to the resulting garrison cap. Try it on your head. Such a hat can be worn not only as a standard garrison cap, but also as a budennovka.
Step 7
If the resulting garrison cap has a deep fit, then the upper corner can be wrapped inward. Thus, you can fit it in size to a specific head, as well as give a classic look to your cap.
