To create openwork napkins, you can use the most common paper products. If you want to make reusable wipes, opt for synthetic fabrics.

Instructions
Step 1
Choose plain paper napkins. Their surface should be sufficiently smooth, not corrugated, the structure should be dense, but not loose. Ordinary napkins in packs are folded 4 times.
Step 2
Fold the napkin diagonally to form a 45-degree triangle. If you want to create a small cut pattern, you can re-fold it.
Step 3
Cut off the protruding edges that resulted from the folding of the square. Decorate this part of the product in the form of semicircles, waves or teeth. You can come up with more intricate motives.
Step 4
Punch small holes around the edge of the napkin. Start cutting from the fold, make sure that the layers do not "slide out", otherwise the holes will be of different sizes.
Step 5
Leave the center section of the napkin intact, with no slits.
Step 6
Straighten the napkin, place it under a press if necessary, or iron it through a soft cloth with a warm iron.
Step 7
Use synthetic fabric to create openwork reusable napkins, unfortunately, you won't be able to cut a non-sprinkling product from a more absorbent cotton fabric. Cut out circles or squares; it all depends on what form of napkin you need.
Step 8
Attach a thin nozzle to the woodburner, heat the device.
Step 9
Finish the edge of the napkin. You can draw a wavy line or create some kind of ornament. Remove unused tissue.
Step 10
Create an intricate pattern with a burner around the edge of the napkin. You can draw outlines of flowers, hearts or leaves with a red-hot needle. Try to "paint" small details so that the holes do not turn out to be huge. Pick up an unnecessary element with the tip of a sewing needle, remove. Trim the edges with fine scissors.
Step 11
If you have small metal attachments (for example, culinary attachments) of different shapes, heat them in a lighter flame and place them on the surface of the cloth, remove excess cloth. You can decorate the edges of the napkin with stars, hearts, or crosses.
