One of the most popular schemes for beautifully folding napkins on a festive table is called "in French". Fold a square napkin in four. Fold half of the corners from one end to the opposite side. Bend the remaining lower corners on the same side to the middle of the napkin so that you get a herringbone. Now stretch the upper one almost to the end, and bend the lower ones at the already folded corners. Fold the resulting structure in half, and you get a kind of napkin in the form of pockets, in each of which you can put a fork, knife and a teaspoon.
Step 2
You can beautifully fold napkins on the festive table in the form of a fan. Fold the napkin in half. Fold one side in the form of an accordion. Bend the free side into the central part of the accordion so that you get a kind of stand-leg. Now turn the structure on its side, carefully place it on the made leg and straighten the petals, creating a beautiful fan.
Step 3
Fold napkins on the holiday table in the form of bags. Fold the napkin in half into a triangle. Bend the base slightly, getting a kind of boat. Fold it in half, with the top side slightly missing from the end of the bottom. Now bend the base so that the corners at the bottom and top remain free. Bend the corners to secure the structure. Carefully flatten the top of the napkin, pulling out the inside slightly and bending over the edges so that you get a pouch. You can place decorative mini-flowers or other suitable additions in it.
Step 4
An interesting decoration will be a napkin on the festive table in the form of a tie. Fold the edges of the napkin one on top of the other as shown in the figure.
