The Rock over the Volga Festival is an international event that annually brings together representatives and fans of rock music in Samara. The event is held every year on Russia Day, June 12.

Step 1
For the first time "Rock over the Volga" was held in 2009 and gathered about 150 thousand spectators. Since then, the festival has been held annually at the largest venues in Samara. In the event that you are driving your own car, you will need to use the M-5 highway, along which you will have to drive about a thousand kilometers from Moscow to Samara.

You will need to check the directions from Samara on the official website of "Rock over the Volga". In particular, the village of Petra-Dubrava was chosen as the venue for the festival in 2012, which can be reached by public transport and train. The organizers aim to accommodate as many listeners as possible, so it is quite possible that the Rock over the Volga festival will again be moved to another square that is different in size from the previous one.
