Shopping bags very often tear at the most inopportune moment, you have to run for a new bag, collect food scattered on the ground … An alternative to disposable plastic bags will be a simple shopping bag made from an old piece of fabric. You don't even need to have the talents of a seamstress, everything is very simple!
It is necessary
Threads, two rectangular pieces of colored fabric, a sewing machine, scissors, a finished fabric ribbon 1 meter long, 2 centimeters wide (for pens)
Instructions
Step 1
Zigzag the top edge of the fabric and sew on the edge of the ribbon from the right side.
Step 2
Now bend the edge inward by 2 centimeters, sew with two lines, grabbing the tape too.
Step 3
Attach the second piece of tape to create a handle for our bag.
Step 4
Do the same with the second piece of cloth. You should get two identical halves.
Step 5
As you may have guessed, now you need to fold both halves together with the front sides inward. Sew the edges with a regular or zigzag stitch.
Step 6
Turn the bag inside out. That's it, the shopping bag is ready, you can go to the store to try it out in practice!
