Nowadays you can see a huge variety of toys in stores. However, toys made with your own hands according to your taste and sketch are the result of a manifestation of imagination. They are of great value, unlike factory ones, since they exist in a single copy, they are not like others, they are exclusive handicrafts.
Instructions
Step 1
Making a toy plane from wooden planks is quite simple. It consists of the following parts: left wing, right wing, tail wings, fuselage and propeller.
Step 2
First, draw a sketch of the toy, its main parts and the finished look. Try to reflect on paper the details of the size of the future product. Prepare suitable blanks for the job. Use short, long planks to make the screw. It is important not only to cut out the parts, but also to clean them well with sandpaper. Think about ways to connect all the parts. Attach key details and collect them for visual assessment.
Step 3
Next, start bonding the finished airplane parts with glue. Use an adhesive suitable for gluing wood elements. First glue the left and right front fenders to the main body (fuselage) and then the tail fenders. Be careful to keep the left and right wings on the same level. It is important to take short breaks between gluing the next workpiece, otherwise the part may shift.
Step 4
The final step of the job is securing the propeller at the front of your aircraft. First, fold the blanks for your screw crosswise and glue together. Once dry, glue the finished propeller onto the nose of the aircraft.
Step 5
After the assembly is complete, you can add smaller items (such as wheels). Color the toy plane to your liking. If it is a military aircraft, choose a protective color for the main background and depict red stars on the wings. If it's a cartoon plane, choose a bright color for the main background, draw eyes and a smile. Be creative, but don't forget to paint the plane with carpentry varnish.
