Instructions

Step 1

Gather a team of organizers and assign responsibilities: who is responsible for the technical equipment of the open air, who is looking for sponsors, who regulates the supply of food and discusses the rider of musicians or VIP guests. Please note that it is almost impossible to organize a large-scale event alone, and even a "closed" open air for several dozen people will require a lot of money and free time invested in its preparation.

Step 2

Select the site where your open air will take place. Keep in mind that within the city limits you will have to end the event at 23 o'clock or continue it without music. Therefore, look for a clearing remote from the city, preferably by a reservoir, and provide parking spaces for cars, motorcycles or bicycles of your guests.

Step 3

Complete all stages of aligning open air with power structures. Namely: get permission to hold a cultural event in the city administration, police, fire service and sanitary and epidemiological station. If the municipality does not provide you with full-time police officers to maintain order in the open air area, hire security guards from the private services.

Step 4

Purchase or rent the equipment you need for your open air. As a rule, this is a mounted stage, sound reinforcement systems, lighting, awnings in case of rain, dry closets. Alternatively, look for a site with a ready-made stage and equipment, it can be a suburban recreation center or a former pioneer camp.

Step 5

Sign a contract with a PR agency or advertise the upcoming open air yourself. Use social networks, hand out flyers on the streets, and, if possible, place ad units in specialized publications. To draw attention to the event, announce a promotion: admission is cheaper by flyer, for girls or those who will be in original costumes.
