The program of a holiday or corporate event implies the concentration of participants on a specific object, whether it be a stage performance, competitions or other. Depending on the tastes of the audience and the nature of the event, you can entertain them using different means and methods.

Step 1
Plan your entertainment program ahead of time. If there are jokes in it, choose a humor that will not offend viewers and guests. Avoid jokes about your appearance, age, and worldview.

Select contests so that each guest participates and wins at least one of the list. Arrange them in such a chronological order that intellectual and generally active ones take place at the beginning of the event, and calm, sedentary and not requiring great mental effort at the end. Be relaxed. Try to capture the general mood of the audience and meet their expectations: sometimes silly and funny, then strict and pretentious. Notice people's reactions, but do not react abruptly, instantly. Change your behavior depending on the situation.

Tell serious and funny life stories. Do not overdo it, excessive focus on your own person can be annoying. Encourage guests to speak up, but don't insist if they don't want to speak. Smooth corners and avoid conflicts, shift everyone's attention from awkward moments to something extraneous.
