Today glass painting is popular. Spot painting, stained glass drawings - these techniques decorate vases, bottles, glasses, candlesticks. And to create such beauty, it is not necessary to have special artistic talents!
It is necessary
Acrylic paints, black contour paint, fine brush, kitchen sponges, disposable tableware, scissors
Instructions
Step 1
First rinse the vase, dry it. It is necessary to apply paints on a clean surface, otherwise the drawing will not fit well. Now take a piece of kitchen sponge and dip it in brown paint.
Step 2
Hold the vase by the top edges, applying brown paint to the bottom of the vase. Do this with a patting motion so that the paint spreads evenly. Do not use a sponge on the glass - streaks will remain.
Step 3
Dip the brush in another paint, apply the rim. This is required not only for beauty, but also to hide the uneven edge of the previous paint.
Step 4
Cut out small molds from the sponge - a leaf, a square, a heart, a rectangle.
Step 5
Dip a rectangular sponge in brown paint, apply the rectangle to the vase in one stroke. So use the sponge to sprinkle in several different places.
Step 6
Paint a square sponge, for example, with blue paint. Use it to draw a few squares.
Step 7
Add white. Do not be afraid to apply elements one on top of the other, so the drawing will look more interesting.
Step 8
Refresh the vase with leaves and hearts.
Step 9
Apply images everywhere, leaving as few gaps as possible.
Step 10
Make an outline. Draw it with a regular brush or a tube with a long nose. Circle all the details. Draw streaks on the leaves with paint.
Step 11
The painting of the vase with sponges is over! Wait for the vase to dry. Then you can cover it with a layer of acrylic varnish, then the decor will last longer. This cute vase can be both a flower stand and candlesticks. Just imagine what beautiful colored shadows she will give in complete darkness! For the candlestick only, use a vase with a very thick glass so that it does not burst from overheating.
