If you are cold and heading to warm up in the car, do not take a gun with you. The fact is that frost is necessarily formed on the optics of the gun from this. Better to keep the gun in the cold. By the way, frost can form on the optics even after you accidentally breathe on it, so it is better to use a hinged cover that will be closed until the moment you need to aim.
Step 2
When the frost is hard enough, your face is bound to freeze. In this case, you will experience discomfort. And so it is not long and miss. Therefore, take a mask that has slits for the eyes with you on winter hunting. This mask not only protect your face, but also the sight of the gun from your breath.
Step 3
Be sure to properly protect your feet when hunting in the winter. You need to keep your feet warm, so wear woolen socks, and preferably 2 pairs at once. Wear long shoes. You need to do this in order to close it with your pants. This will prevent snow from getting into your shoes and keep your feet dry.
Step 4
Take two pairs of gloves with you. In some you should be warm, while in others it should be comfortable. It is uncomfortable to hold your finger on the trigger when wearing thick, warm gloves, so wear them when the animal is not nearby. And as soon as the object of the hunt appears in sight, wear thin gloves, in which it is convenient to shoot.
