Step 1
Usually the cap is made from newspaper sheets. You can use A2 paper to make a larger cap. A sheet of paper is folded in half. Further, the corners on the fold are bent towards the center (so that they converge in the middle).

The strip at the bottom folds back in half twice.

The side corners fold over and your future cap flips over.
Step 4
Then the sides are folded towards the middle so that they connect in the center line. For young children, it is necessary that these sides do not converge in the center, but be about one and a half centimeters from it. This will make the cap smaller. Depending on the size of the head, the size of the headgear can also be controlled at this stage. If at the last stage the cap turns out to be either too large or too small, you need to unfold the resulting product and repeat this step.
Step 5
Further, the lower strip is bent in half. After that, the corners are bent to give the visor a triangular shape. On the reverse side, the lower corner is bent and inserted into the resulting kind of "pocket" so that the corner is fixed in the strip.
Step 6
The cap is straightened, the side corners are fixed, the corners and edges of the product are leveled. If necessary, change the size, going back two steps. The cap is ready.
