A magician's cap, a New Year's cap, a bright festive cap on your head in honor of a birthday celebration - the easiest way is to make any cap with your own hands out of paper.

Newspapers, thick white or colored cardboard, glue, scissors, paints, colored paper, foil, pieces of fabric, tape
Instructions
Step 1
First, make a pattern for the cap from newspaper or any other paper that is available in unlimited quantities. Based on the expected size of the hood, cut a triangle with a rounded base out of the newspaper. Try on a pattern by joining it with straight sides butt-to-side.
Step 2
If the pattern fits your size, start making a real cap. To do this, you will need thicker paper - white or colored cardboard and glue. Using a newspaper blank, cut a piece of the desired shape and size from cardboard, however, on one straight side of the triangle, leave a gluing allowance - about 1 cm.
Step 3
Customize the hood. To do this, you can paint the cap with paints, glue it over with applications made of colored paper, foil or fabric. Decorate the hat depending on the theme of the event you are going to wear it to.
Step 4
After the cap is decorated and the glue or paint has dried, proceed with gluing. Connect the two straight sides of the triangle together so that the glue-spread area is inside the cap. Carefully remove excess glue. The cap is ready!
Step 5
If necessary, equip your hat with straps for a more comfortable fit (the straps are inserted into the holes at the bottom of the hat) and a drawstring pom-pom that attaches to the sharp top of your extravagant hat.
