Crafts in the form of dogs are now extremely relevant, because according to the eastern calendar, the year of the Dog is coming. Make a cute doggie with your own hands very simply and quickly.
Such a dog can be sewn from thin felt or any other dense fabric very simply and quickly, because the pattern is very simple. But, despite the simplicity of the work, the result will delight those to whom you present such a souvenir.
thin felt of light beige and brown color, a little stuffing material (special for stuffing soft toys or cotton wool, holofiber, padding polyester and the like), threads in color, dark brown or black marker, a small piece of chintz with a small pattern for craft decorations, 5-7 cm narrow ribbon or braid, key ring.
1. Make a paper pattern according to the attached diagram. To do this, enlarge the drawing in any graphics editor to the size you need, print it on a printer and cut out two parts (A and B).
2. Cut out two pieces of beige felt (A) and one piece for dark brown (B).
Helpful advice: if you wish, it is quite possible to replace felt with another fabric - artificial or natural thin leather, jeans, wool, tapestry. When choosing a fabric, remember that the smaller the craft, the less material should crumble!
3. Sew the two halves of the dog's body, folding the parts right sides to each other (do not sew the last 2-3 cm to unscrew the craft). Fill in the dog and sew on with blind stitches. Be sure to insert a piece of tape into the part of the seam that matches the back of the dog.
If you decide to decorate the dog with an applique, the decorative details must be sewn on before performing point 3 of this instruction.
4. Sew the piece (B), seam first, onto the top of the dog's head. Use threads for this operation that are as close as possible to the color of the part (B)
5. Draw the eyes and nose with a dark marker. By the way, the eyes and nose can be embroidered with black or dark brown threads (almost any thread will do - fine wool, floss, sewing from number 40 to 10).
The dog is ready! Attach it to your key ring and delight someone very close with your creativity.
