Not every wallet has a convenient bank card compartment. In order not to damage this important thing, it is worth making a reliable case for it.
To prevent your bank card from being damaged, make a cover made of thick felt for it. This is a very simple craft that even a child or a man can handle, because for work it is enough to be able to use scissors and sew a needle forward seam by hand.
the seam "forward to the needle" is also called the sweeping seam. It looks like a row of stitches and gaps in between. If you wish, you can use not this simple seam to make the product, but something more interesting in appearance, for example, a vestibule.
: felt, thread in color and a needle. Choose materials for decoration according to your own taste (use, for example, patterned braid, multi-colored threads for embroidery, etc.), but remember that functionality is the main thing in this product.
Consider the pattern you will need to build. For the simplest case, you need two parts:
1 - the back of the case (a rectangle, the dimensions of which should be approximately 1 cm larger than the bank card);
2 - the front part, which has the same dimensions as the part (1), but along one of the long sides a small cut is made (semicircular, triangular, in the form of a trapezoid, of a different shape) for convenience. The lengths of the segments (A1 A1) and (B B1) should be equal and in size equal to about a quarter of the length of the segment (B1 A1) each.
After you have made the pattern of the cover parts from paper, cut them out of felt and sew on three sides by hand.
Case version for two cards
Cut out two pieces of felt (2) and one piece (1). Fold them so that part (1) is the middle of the three-part "sandwich" and sew. This gives you a compact case for two bank cards.
