However, according to tradition, homemade baubles are given as a sign of friendship - the owner of the baubles must tie it on his friend's hand, then it will definitely bring good luck.

Weaving such a bracelet is not difficult, this art is available to any beginner, for this you just need to remember a few simple rules. There are two types of weaving - straight and oblique, which are reproduced on a cord or frame. They differ from each other both in the resulting pattern and in the way of tying knots.

Weaving such a bracelet is not difficult, this art is available to any beginner, for this you just need to remember a few simple rules. There are two types of weaving - straight and oblique, which are reproduced on a cord or frame. They differ from each other both in the resulting pattern and in the way of tying knots.

Curved weaving is easier for execution and it is better to start learning to weave baubles with it. Cut an even number of threads 4 times the size of the planned bauble (do not forget that it must be tied, that is, it is better to leave the long ends). On average, this is 100 - 120 centimeters. Tie all the threads in one weak knot and secure with a safety pin to any suitable object, for example, a pillow. This will prevent the threads from twisting.
Take the thread on the far left and tie it around all subsequent threads. The knot is made the most common - take a thread and use it to tie a knot on the next thread, so they will swap places. And so on to the edge - you get a diagonal strip of knots of thread of the same color. It is important here not to twist them, and tighten the knots tightly. Further, the extreme left turned out to be a thread of a different color, we take it and do the same and so on until all the threads are knitted, i.e. if you took 4 colors, then you should get 4 multi-colored oblique stripes. Then the same operations are repeated again until the bauble gets the required length. Reverse weaving is also possible. If now the knots are braided from left to right, then with the reverse weaving everything is done the same only from right to left. These weaves can be alternated - the result is a zigzag pattern.
However, to weave baubles with a name, you need to master straight weaving. Straight weaving differs from the curve not only in the pattern, but also in the way of tying knots. If in a crooked one, you tied the simplest knot, then here the knot should be double. It is tied in such a way that the braiding thread is thrown over the braided one, then passed into the formed loop and immediately another knot of the same is knitted. Both knots are tight. When a whole row is knitted, knots are woven in the opposite direction with the same thread, they are tied in a mirror image. The rows should be straight. The letters are woven with a thread of a different color. At the same time, the knots are tied in the opposite direction, i.e. if you are braiding the row to the right with the main color, the knots for the letter should be tied to the left.

For weaving baubles with a name, either two colors are used, one is the main one, the background color, and the second is the color of the letters. The length of the thread of the main color should be several times the size of the bracelet itself, you can immediately take a skein. For convenience, it can be rolled into a ball.
