Preparing for the New Year is a real holiday for adults and children. A coniferous beauty in the middle of the apartment, bright Christmas balls, the smell of tangerines and sweets are memories that remain for a lifetime. To make the atmosphere even more festive and soulful, try decorating your apartment with paper crafts that are easy to do with your own hands.
Instructions
Step 1
One of the symbols of the winter holidays is a fragile snowflake. In order to make a beautiful figurine, you only need a square sheet of white or blue paper and sharp scissors. Fold the sheet four times, then fold it diagonally to form a right triangle. Make curly cuts on all sides, the main thing is not to accidentally cut the triangle in half. When finished, unfold the snowflake. She can decorate not only the Christmas tree, but also the windows, walls and doors of the apartment. Instead of paper, you can use thick foil - you will surely like the result.
Step 2
You can make a beautiful snowflake in another way. You will need a rectangular piece of paper of the right color, a ruler, pencil, glue, and scissors. Fold the paper rectangle in half. Along the fold line, make marks with a pencil, at a distance of 5-10 mm from each other. Then start cutting the sheet perpendicular to the fold, using these marks. However, do not bring the scissors to the end, leaving a 1-1.5 cm wide strip on the other side uncut. Then bend it inward and glue the edges so that the workpiece takes the shape of a circle with "rays". Make a loop out of thin lace or thread and hang the snowflake on the tree.
Step 3
Decorate your apartment with colorful garlands. A child can also make a chain of multi-colored rings. Surely this lesson will appeal to the younger members of the family. Prepare as many narrow long strips of paper of different colors and textures as possible. Roll one of the strips into a ring and glue the ends, then pass the next piece through the first link and use the glue again. This garland will be a wonderful decoration for your room!
Step 4
Another way to create a garland is known from childhood to almost everyone. Take a strip of paper, fold it accordion. Draw with a pencil or felt-tip pen the halves of the figures connected to each other: bunnies, gnomes or just people holding hands, Christmas trees or stars. Cut them along the outline. The resulting garland can be colored by turning each figurine into a small piece of art.
