Wonderful Christmas toys can be made from a wide variety of materials. Try making them with salt dough. This material is available, and both adults and children will like to make crafts from it.

Further, the process resembles the preparation of shortbread cookies. Roll the salted dough into a layer 0.5-1 cm thick. Cut out the figures using cookie cutters. Use a cocktail straw to make a hole at the top of the figurine so you can attach a string for hanging the Christmas toy on the tree.

Christmas toys can be made not only flat, but also voluminous. Sculpt everything that you and your children like from plastic salty material: balls, snowmen, icicles, Christmas trees, and so on. The technology is the same as for modeling from plasticine. Make a hole for the string in advance at the top of the figure.
