Make several identical figures out of newspaper - they are needed to add volume to the toy. Glue the newspaper layers to the base, spreading liberally with glue. If you need to add volume to the figure in some places, for example, to make the cheeks or tummy, use toilet paper. To do this, crumple a small piece, saturate it abundantly with glue and add "bulges" to the toy. Finally, glue the last layer on the figure - preferably white paper. Before the toy is dry, stick a pin or paperclip into the top so you can hang it on the tree. Dry the resulting Christmas toy for 2-3 days at room temperature, away from heat sources. So that it does not deform, you can press it with a load. Cover the dried figurine with white gouache and paint. Cover the finished product with varnish.

To make the dough multi-colored, divide it into parts and dip each in a concentrated solution of watercolors, then knead thoroughly again. Blind toys from the resulting dough. Funny figures are obtained if you roll a ball out of dough, and attach legs, handles, ears, a nose, etc. to it. So that small parts do not fall off, wet the joints of the elements well with water. After the toy is ready, once again moisten all compounds with water from a pipette. Insert a pin or paper clip into the top of the product. You can paint the toy with gouache before it dries. It is better to dry at room temperature, because in the oven, the product may deform, crack or burn. Cover the dried figurine with colorless varnish.
