The piano belongs to the keyboard-hammer instruments. Play it with both hands, holding the keys located in two rows (black and white) one by one or whole chords. The range of the piano allows the performance of both accompaniment (bass, chord, rhythm-harmonic parts), as well as ensemble and solo works. It is widely used in both academic music and pop-jazz music.
Instructions
Step 1
Clip your nails. So that the sound comes from the hammer mechanism and the instrument does not become percussion, you will play with pads, not nails.
Step 2
Sit in a chair in front of the piano. On the edge, not the whole fifth point on the entire seat. Knees should not rest on the bottom wall of the instrument, feet at the level of the pedals. The elbows are set apart, like a ballerina's, the shoulders are lowered, the back is straight. Keep your arms in one straight line from your elbows to the start of your fingers, and your hands should be rounded, as if you were holding a tennis ball.
Step 3
Find a group of two black notes in the middle of the keyboard. To their left is the C note of the first octave. Other "C" notes (second, third and further) are located to the right next to the same groups of black keys. To the left are located small, large, contract, subcontract.
Step 4
Take a collection of light pieces, or better scales. Start with pieces and exercises in the key of C major. Parse the piece first separately with your right hand, then with your left hand. Remember that depending on the clef (treble or bass), the note up to the first octave is marked on the first bottom or first top additional ruler.
Step 5
When parsing, pay attention to the correct fingering (finger order), nuances and strokes. Find climaxes in every phrase and throughout the piece (general climax).
Step 6
Connect the parts of the hands first at a slow pace, then gradually bring it to the original.
Step 7
Disassemble works of different genres one by one, choosing more complex and voluminous ones.
