The dog waltz, once written by the great Chopin for his son, has become wildly popular in Russia. If not every dog knows him, then at least every citizen who once went to a music school. However, in order to learn how to play the dog waltz on the piano, you do not need special musical abilities. You just need to know the notes. But having learned it, you will surely be known among your friends as a skillful pianist.

Instructions
Step 1
Sit at the piano. You should be comfortable - your hands are free on the keyboard, your feet are under the pedals. Examine the keyboard, find the first and second octaves.
Step 2
Play a familiar melody in your head. The dog waltz consists of two sentences - a question and an answer. Each sentence, in turn, consists of three phrases. A dog waltz is played, mainly on black keys. Please note that this is a waltz, so it is written in 3/4 size.
Step 3
Learn the first sentence. First phrase: D-sharp of the second octave, C-sharp of the second octave, F-sharp of the first octave, twice F-sharp of the second octave. Second phrase: exact repetition of the first phrase. Third phrase: re-sharp of the second octave, C-sharp of the second octave, F-sharp of the first octave, F-sharp of the second octave, re-sharp of the first octave, F-sharp of the second octave, C-sharp of the first octave, twice F of the second octave … Play several times.
Step 4
Practice the second sentence. First phrase: D-sharp of the second octave, C-sharp of the second octave, C-sharp of the first octave, twice F of the second octave. Second phrase: exact repetition of the first phrase. Third phrase: re-sharp of the second octave, C-sharp of the second octave, C-sharp of the first octave, F of the second octave, re-sharp of the first octave, F of the second octave, F-sharp of the first octave, twice F-sharp of the second octave. Play several times.
Step 5
Practice at different rates. You can play with one or two hands. Imagine that you are dancing to this music. This is necessary in order to feel the waltz size. If your hands move around the keyboard easily and freely, you can show your skills to your friends.
