How nice it is to plunge into a warm bath after work and lie there, relax. And if the bath is also fragrant, then it will be true bliss. Bombs will help us enjoy taking a bath and lower the hardness of the water. But this article is not about pyrotechnics, but rather about a cosmetic product.

Here's a great "ammunition" for your bathroom
Here's a great "ammunition" for your bathroom

It is necessary

  • Soda 180 grams;
  • Three tablespoons of citric acid;
  • Four tablespoons of cornstarch
  • Three tablespoons of coconut oil
  • A tablespoon of water;
  • Half a teaspoon of any essential oil.

Instructions

Step 1

Bombs are bubble bath balls made of citric acid, baking soda, and other filler additives. Some aromatize the water, the second reduce its hardness, and the third color the water. You can add anything that our imagination allows us to add to the bombs. The main thing is the mandatory presence of soda and citric acid.

Step 2

Molds for bombs should be chosen so that the inner walls are smooth. These can be table tennis balls (cut in half), plastic "testicles" from chocolate eggs, disposable cups, etc. Pack the bombs with plastic wrap.

Step 3

The proportions used in the manufacture of bath balls: part citric acid, 2 parts soda, part filler. The rest is additives. The list of ingredients for the simplest coconut bomb is outlined above. Let's move on to the manufacturing process itself.

Step 4

Heat the coconut oil in a water bath, add water and essential oil to it, mix. We fall asleep soda, starch, mix thoroughly again. It remains to add citric acid and mix again. The mass that we get should not lose shape after squeezing it into a lump. We shift the resulting composition into molds, ram. In the forms, the mass should be left for a day. At the end of the day, we take out the mass from the molds and dry it for another 10-12 hours. We wrap the finished balls (cubes or something else, depending on the geometry of the molds) in polyethylene and store until use. By the way, it is not necessary to dry the bombs if we are going to take a bath with them right away.

Step 5

If you do not like to feel the presence of oils in the water, prepare the bombs in a slightly different way - Mix all the ingredients and sprinkle the mixture from a spray bottle with water, a couple of times. Try to form a ball. Does not work? Sprinkle more, just do not overdo it with water, otherwise the balls will quickly crumble in the water. You can use dyes to make bombs striped or spotted. And if you know what properties certain essential oils have and love to use them, then you can make bombs that will relax the body, tone up or have other beneficial effects. Enjoy your bath.
