Flowers that never fade can be made from ordinary plastic bottles. In the summer cottage water lilies look amazing. They will refresh the territory and become a picturesque element of the country house design. Make them using the first or second method.
It is necessary
- - plastic bottle, white, yellow, transparent;
- - 5 liter canister;
- - adhesive sealant;
- - scissors;
- - green, blue or pink acrylic paint;
- - gel pen or felt-tip pen;
- - a sheet of paper in the box.
Instructions
Step 1
To make a water lily out of a plastic bottle according to the first method, cut off the neck on the shoulders and the bottom from this container (it will still be needed). Cut the remaining middle vertically. You now have a rectangular canvas.
Step 2
Take a piece of checkered paper and draw 3 types of petals on it. On the one hand, they are pointed, on the other, they are beveled. The size of the petals is 5, 5; 7, 5 and 10 cm. Draw and cut them out on paper, attach the template to the plastic canvas, circle with a felt-tip pen or pen. You will need 8 small petals (5, 5 cm), and cut out medium and large ones in 6 pieces.
Step 3
If your bottle is white, leave it that way. Cover the details of the transparent container with pink or blue acrylic paint, leave to dry, then start collecting the flower. Turn the bottom of the bottle over, evenly glue 8 small petals to it in a circle with sharp edges outward. Next, attach 6 mediums with adhesive sealant. Six large ones form the outer edge. Arrange them so that each one is peeking out between the two middle petals of the previous row.
Step 4
Glue a small scented candle in the middle. You can light it up in the evenings, and the summer cottage will look fabulous.
Step 5
The second method for making a lily from a plastic bottle is also simple. For a yellow bottle, cut the neck to the shoulders. Take it, use scissors to make a zigzag edge. It should consist of eight identical semicircular petals.
Step 6
Do not throw away the next part of the bottle, which goes below the shoulders, cut a strip 4 cm wide from it. Cut the lower edge of this part with scissors 2 cm in the form of a thin fringe. Roll the blank loosely into a roll. Bring it to a gas burner or a lighted candle, the fringe will melt and bend. To avoid soot on parts, do not place near heat sources. You have a stamen. Put the part with petals cut out before on the neck, put the stamen inside with the fringe up, glue.
Step 7
Cut a tape 8 cm wide from a white bottle. Make a six-petal piece out of it. In the middle, you will have a large round hole with petals extending from it. Put this piece on the neck with the sharp ends of the petals facing up. Make 2 more of the same blanks, put on exactly like this, glue. You have 3 rows of white petals with yellow stamens in the middle.
Step 8
From the bottom of a 5-liter canister, cut a large heart-shaped sheet, paint it green, make an incision in the middle, insert the neck of a plastic lily bottle into it and glue it.
